Stand Against Racism
Friday, April 30 2010, 8:00am - 5:00pm

Put April 30, 2010 on your calendars and be prepared to take a Stand Against Racism.
The Stand Against Racism is a movement of the YWCA that aims to eliminate racism by raising awareness through its annual event.
All YWCAs are encouraged to attend and then organize their own events.
The goal is to bring people together from all walks of life—across the country—to raise awareness that racism still exists.
The YWCA of Niagara and the YWCA of the Tonawandas are working together to organize a Stand across Niagara County. Stand committee members will reach out to school districts and government agencies and the private sector to participate. More details will follow so keep an eye on the YWCA web sites for updated information.
If you want to participate, visit the website at  www.standagainstracism.org to sign up.
