The YWCA of Niagara offers a summer camp for school-aged children in Lockport and Niagara Falls. The Falls location is at Niagara Street Elementary School in cooperation with the Niagara Falls School District. The 2010 camp is underway. Hours are from 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Space is still available. This camp with a choice gives children a variety of activities each day in which they can participate. Each camper chooses those activities in which they want to participate, and for how long. Programs vary daily. Campers have access to daily gym and swimming activities as well as Friday field trips to locations that include Darien Lake, the National Museum of Play, Marineland and Fallsview Indoor Waterpark. The program includes breakfast, lunch and snack, all field trip fees, field trip T-shirt and no extra fee for drop off before 8:30 a.m. or pick up after 4:30 p.m. Click here for a camp application for the 2010 camp year.
