One-on-One Counseling
Each resident has access to an on-site case manager, the Carolyn’s House Family Development Specialist.

Each individual weekly session focuses on:

• developing short- and long-term goals
• creating a household budget
• preparing child care plan and transportation plans
• developing employment and/or education goals

The Family Development Specialist also assists residents with referrals for additional support services.

Resident Support Group
A support group for residents led by the Family Development Specialist to discuss the challenges of living in a diverse community setting.

Youth Support Group
A support group for Carolyn’s House teens to talk about peer issues and develop character-building skills.

Evening Activities
Mothers and their children can participate in evening activities in the Carolyn’s House youth room. Activities include arts and crafts, movie nights, computer assistance, homework assistance and more.

Weekend activities and field trips are also available.
